Premier Claims Management

Daniel Hartmann started at Premier in August 2016, coming to the company with over 30 years of claims experience, including 20 in management. 

 

Daniel started at Great American Insurance where he handled auto, garagekeepers and general liability claims, including habitational claims.  He also trained to be the department’s auto appraiser. At CNA Insurance, Daniel continued handling the same types of claims before being promoted to subrogation/salvage/field unit supervisor.  Later, he handled and supervised construction defect claims, including claims for developers and general contractors, as well as extra-contractual claims, and he held the role of department trainer.  Daniel moved on to Zurich Insurance, where he supervised teams handling general liability, construction defect (named insured and additional insured teams), and architects and engineers professional liability claims. 

 

At Premier, Daniel is the company’s claim manager and is the point person for the habitational claim program.  In addition to habitational claims, Daniel’s groups also handle massage professional liability, employment law, mechanical bull, construction defect and third party property damage claims.

EDUCATION:

• Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.  He also received a certificate in C++ Programming from the same institution.
